Welcome to my Fundraising Page!
This past November I lost the most amazing man in my life - my dad - to an incredibly valiant fight against a rare blood cancer, Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma NOS (not otherwise specified).
Since my dad was diagnosed, I have always wanted to give back and make a difference in some way, so that no other family had to endure what mine did. Last year when I ran my first marathon, was my true introduction to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I chose to raise money for LLS simply as a form of giving back. I ran that race a mere 18 days after my dad's passing, and I couldn't have gotten though it without the amazing volunteers from LLS. In those few hours, LLS proved to be so much more than just any charity organization. The people working and running that day embraced everyone as family and truly worked together as a team toward such an inspiring goal - to one day, know a world without blood cancers.
This Saturday, I will be competing in a bowling tournament and all proceeds will benefit LLS.
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
