I really, really hate cancer.
I am, once again, going to bowl badly for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Lebowski-themed annual fundraiser, The Dude Hates Cancer.

My awesome team, We Roll on Shabbos, has been participating in The Dude Hates Cancer for the last ten years. Ten years! We participate every year because cancer is still here, still taking lives and still affecting every one of us.
The bowling event takes place on 9/23/17 at South Bowl in South Philly. My team will be bowling at 5pm, so if you want to come on by and watch me bowl worse than every single member of my team, I welcome you. I'll buy you a White Russian (or any other non-disgusting drink of your choosing).
Also - and this really is the most important thing - there is a tater tot bar. TATER TOT BAR.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
