2015 marks our campaign's 10-year anniversary! And we aim to make it the best year ever. Welcome to Philly's 2015 Executive Committee's fundraising page!

The Dude Hates Cancer is a homegrown charity event started by Tim Maxwell, who wanted to do something to help when his parents were diagnosed with two different forms of blood cancers. His inaugural event in 2006 raised $1,400. Today, the campaign has spread to 4 other cities and we've raised over half a million dollars!

Our organizing committee is run by volunteers and we donate 100% of what we raise directly to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We volunteer our time and efforts because we are passionate about the cause, and simply because we love the event! 

Please join us in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to our fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, our efforts will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today. 

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded druges are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
