Students of the Year Wichita
Kaeli Gard | Kaeli Gard's Campaign Team
Welcome to Kaeli Gard's SOY Fundraising Page!
Dear Friend,
I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to help others. This year our local chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society is premiering a student of the year fundraising campaign, and I was honored to join this year’s efforts as a 2018 student of the year candidate.. I am writing today to ask for your support of LLS’s mission in its efforts to find cures for blood cancers and to assist patients and families as they battle this disease. I have decided to join this campaign in honor of my sister Ayla. At the age of five Ayla was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. LLS helped my family a variety of ways from providing us with annual financial assistance to giving us books to explain to my sister that she was going to lose her hair. Even with all of the great advances in blood cancer research leukemia still causes the most fatalities in children under 20 than any other cancer. From March 21– May 6, our team goal is to raise $10,000 which will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission. If we go above and beyond our goal and raise $50,000, we can link our team name to an LLS-funded research portfolio this year to honor our efforts to help people with blood cancers. This is where you come in. I ask that you please use make a tax deductible contribution to LLS. I also request that you reach out to others you know and ask them to do the same. I thank you in advance for supporting this incredible need. I’ll let you know how the campaign goes. For now, I am grateful for your support.
Sincerely,
Kaeli Gard, Valley Center High School

Welcome To My Fundraising Page.
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support!
