Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.

The Students of the Year campaign is a seven-week initiative in which nominated high school students participate in a fundraising competition to benefit LLS.  Every dollar counts as one vote.  The amounts raised during the 7 week period, beginning January 18, 2018, are TOP SECRET and are not disclosed until March 10, 2018 at the Grand Finale Gala, celebrating the accomplishments of our student candidates and their team. 

The Gala evening will be at one of the most unique business locations in Detroit, dPOP!  Located in the basement of the Chrysler House, dPOP's space originated from the bank vaults of the former Dime Bank.  With its vibrant, colorful and sometimes cartoon-esque interiors, "dPOP!" an acronym for People, Office and Places, certainly is a wonderful space for a celebration including dinner, auctions and awards presentations.

LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.

And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.

We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
